Create mind maps in seconds with ChatGPT and Markmap
STEP 2: Getting Started
Go to ChatGPT. You can either use GPT-3.5 (free version) or GPT-4 (paid version) modals for this.
STEP 2: Creating a Mind Map
Choose a topic that you need a mind map for. Once you have it, begin a new conversation with the following prompt:
"Create a mind map of [Your Topic]. List topics as central ideas, main branches, and sub-branches."
STEP 3: Refine the Structure
Once ChatGPT generates the initial mind map outline, ask it to refine the structure by presenting the information in markdown format.
Prompt: “Create this same mind map in markdown format”
STEP 4: Visualize with Markmap
Go to Markmap. Remove all the content written on the editor (located on the left side) and paste your markdown content.
Watch it transform your text into a visually appealing mind map!
STEP 5: Customize and Export (Optional)
Markmap allows you to customize your mind map's appearance, including colors and layout. Experiment with different settings to create a design that best represents your topic and personal style. Once you're satisfied, download your mind map as an interactive HTML file for online sharing or as an SVG image for static use.
